Dining in Rochester
Rochester, MN is a city that is very culturally diverse. This can be evidenced in all aspects of city life, including the food. Downtown Rochester offers a variety of culinary dining choices from American to Greek and even Mexican. Here are a few restaurants that are sure to wet your appetite.

The restaurant and wine bar offers a wide assortment of appetizers including crab cakes, mozzarella sticks, and steamed mussels. Salads include Mango salad, Spinach salad, and Carpaccio di Manzo, a salad topped with cured beef, Parmesan, lemon capers, arugula, and toasted crostini. There are many entrees to choose from such as margherita pizza, Chicken Alfredo, veal portabella, and lasagna. Victoria’s broad wine selection, mixed drinks, and beer are the perfect compliment to any meal. If you have any room left for dessert, you can partake of the homemade tiramisu, or the canoli, filled with ricotta, cheese, chocolate pieces, and a pinch of orange zest.
Michael’s serves up a little taste of Greece with many of their Greek inspired dishes. For starters, you could try the Greek Saganaki Cheese, or the Spanakotiropetes, a puff pastry stuffed with spinach and feta cheese. Main course entrees include Tenderloin beef kabobs, and Garides Tourkolimino, a dish consisting of gulf shrimp sautéed with feta cheese, green onions and tomatoes with manestra. For dessert, you can savor the sweet taste of Greek baklava, layered with nuts, honey and spices.
Twigs Tavern and Grille is the perfect spot for an evening of fine dining. You can start your meal off with a cup of soup, or a garden salad, topped with egg, cucumber, tomato, and onion. If you are in the mood for something light, there are sandwiches such as the apricot turkey sandwich, served on grilled cranberry wild rice bread and served with your choice of French fries, fruit plate or sweet potato fries. If you are in the mood for something different, you can order from the Hot Rock menu, where your choice of meat or seafood is delivered to your table with a 650-degree rock for you to cook your entrée to your liking. You can also get to choose two sauces and a side.
